Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Mumbai Police To Summon Late Actor’s Family Yet Again For Second Round Of Statements- Reports
The investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is underway, and as per reports, Mumbai Police will summon the late actor’s family once again for to record second round of statements
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, and it has been two weeks since he passed away. The investigation in the late actor’s suicide case is underway and over the last two weeks, statements by 27 people have been recorded, including Sushant’s father KK Singh, friends, manager, accountant, doctor, associates from YRF, house staff and rumoured girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. Now, according to a report on the Internet, the police will summon Sushant’s family again.
A source revealed to Pinkvilla, that Sushant’s family, including his sister who lives in Mumbai, will be summoned by the Bandra Police. The source revealed that second round of statements will be recorded by the police. While it isn’t exactly clear, which questions could be asked during this second round of interrogation, the report suggests that they could be asked about Sushant’s financial deals, including his companies, one of which sees Rhea and her brother Showmik as directors.
Meanwhile, ANI reported that the Bandra Police has recorded statements of 27 people so far. DCP Abhishek Trimukhe shared an update and said, “In Sushant Singh Rajput's case, the Bandra police has recorded statements of 27 people. We have received the detailed post-mortem report which was conducted by a team of 5 doctors. The actors' cause of death has been clearly stated by the doctors as asphyxia due to hanging. The rest of the samples collected have been sent for an analysis. We have requested the forensic team to conduct the analysis on a priority basis.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was cremated at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai on June 15. His ashes were immersed in the Ganga river, in Patna, by his family members.
